Healthy Habits for the Body
- Get enough sleep
We hear this all the time and I know I’m guilty of not sleeping enough. But there have been countless studies that prove we as adults need 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
Getting enough sleep is way more important than most of us think. Because lack of sleep inhibits our mental functions. Can increase stress and can make depression and anxiety worsen.
- Eating The Right Foods
Making sure you’re eating a balanced diet goes a long way towards feeling better in general. Eating too many junky foods. Or ones that are high in fat or sugar can lead you to feel worse instead of better. A balanced diet of fruits, veggies, and lean meats can leave your body feeling way better than one full of processed foods and junk.
- Exercise Regularly
It doesn’t have to be an intense workout either. Just going for a walk every day to get your body moving is good enough for most people.
- Drink Plenty of Water
Many people say that you need to drink eight 8 oz cups of water each day. But that can be different for everyone. It’s best to check with your healthcare provider to find out exactly how much you should drink each day. This water bottle is a great way to keep track of your water intake and is super affordable too.
- Don’t Ignore Your Dental Hygenie
This is something that people tend to overlook as you get older. Because let’s face it who really likes going to the dentist? But one key to your health is your teeth. By keeping your teeth and gums healthy you can prevent things like tooth decay and disease.
- Go to the Doctor When You Need to
We all need to have regular checkups to make sure that everything is in working order. And the best way to catch health issues is to go to the Doctor for regular checkups.

- Get Offline
Stop spending so much time on social media. Not only is it just not good for you in general. It can also keep you from comparing your life to those that you see on there. (just because they seem all together and happy they may not be)
- Take Time Away When You Need to
From work, your family, and even friends. Sometimes we get so caught up in the needs of others, we forget to take time for ourselves.
- Get Outside Often
Spending time outdoors is good for you! When you spend time outside, you’re getting the fresh air and sunlight that your body needs.
- Read More Books
Like real books. They can stimulate your mind and increase your creativity naturally.
- Challenge Yourself
Challenge yourself in any way you can. If there is something that you feel you cant do. Try it anyway. Chances are once you do it enough or practice it you can become good at it. Once you have done one thing, find another.
